I’ve been building tournament and ladder software since 2001—longer than most gaming platforms have existed.

What started as a bracket module for PHP-Nuke in the MSN Gaming Zone era has evolved into the most mature tournament management system for WordPress. After 20+ years and hundreds of communities running thousands of tournaments, I’ve seen and solved just about every competitive gaming scenario imaginable.

In 2019, I made the strategic decision to focus exclusively on WordPress, rebuilding Tournamatch from scratch as a native plugin. This allowed me to deliver the reliable, modern system you see today—backed by two decades of refinement.
