Do I need Tournamatch Pro, or will the free version work?
The free version of Tournamatch is sufficient. This integration works with any Tournamatch install. Tournamatch Pro adds advanced features like double elimination and ELO rankings, but is not required to use the myCred integration.
Does myCred need to be configured before installing this?
Yes. You’ll need the myCred plugin installed and active, with a points type configured. Players will need a way to acquire points (via myCred packages or another earning method) before they can pay entry fees or place wagers.
What happens if a player doesn’t have enough points?
The action is blocked. Players cannot register for a fee-based tournament, join a ladder, or issue a challenge if they have insufficient funds. They’ll see an error and need to acquire more points first.
Can I customize payout percentages beyond the top three?
Yes, you can configure the number of payout recipients and the point amount each receives. The integration is flexible — payouts don’t have to follow a fixed top-3 structure.
How do team tournament fees work?
All team members are credited or debited equally for team competition transactions. Teams must also maintain their exact roster size before joining or registering, and roster changes are blocked while funds are unsettled (during active tournaments or pending challenges).
Is the challenge cooldown configurable?
Yes. The default challenge cooldown is 1 day, but it’s adjustable via the trn_mycred_challenge_cool_down WordPress filter using standard DateInterval format.
Are transactions reversible if a dispute occurs?
Transactions follow myCred’s standard handling. Administrators can manually adjust balances through myCred’s admin tools. The integration itself does not provide automatic reversal, but the full ledger makes disputes easy to audit.
Can I set different fees per tournament?
Yes, entry fees and payout amounts are configured per tournament and per ladder — not globally. Each competition can have its own fee structure.
